The cas . It has 3 bolts that need to be loosened to rotate it . You also need to be at the correct angle when shooting the timing light ( put the gun between the intake and exhaust valve covers on the pass side and aim at the crank ) . The "loop" sucks , as mentioned above remove the #1 coil pack ,get a regular spark wire put it on the #1 plug then cut the other end ( leaving alittle of the inner wire sticking out ) and stick it into the coil pack . This will allow your engine to run on all 6 while you check the timing from that wire .
